This piece is from my Sculpture IA class. The piece was inspired by my friend's hair which she says attacks her and tries to choke her while she sleeps. The face has a combination of both my features and my friend's. The hands were sculpted after mine, and one is even sporting my wedding ring. It was originally sculpted in clay and later casted in Hydro-Cal. The Hydro-Cal was mixed with a glob of acrilic paint, giving the sculpture a slight flesh tone. The final paint job, however, was done with make-up; foundation for the skin; eye-liner for the eyes, lipstic for the lips; lip-gloss for the blood; and all sealed over with 2 coats of hair spray.
