This piece is an oil painting done for my Painting IIIB class. The assignment was to create a matching series for the semester. Because of my access to this abundant source material, I chose Neglected and Abused animals as the theme.
This dog was so malnourished that he had to be mercied. You can see the bits of hair that were shaven off from the dog's forelimb in order to make the injection.
