This is another graphic I created.  I used the digital 'node' technique again for the black lines.  The rest of the color and shading was done with digital paint.  No direct references/models were used.  I browsed online thru some mermaid artwork and some photos of mermaid tattoos before beginning.  I also browsed thru a few magazines. My friend Kelly asked if I would create a tattoo design for her.  The idea was to create a 'pin-up' type girl model as a mermaid.  She also asked that the tail be green and the hair be red.
