This is Chip from "The Dreamer", a fantacy novel by Scott Massey. The 1 foot tall sniple creature is standing in the desert in the world of Genetrix asking Kevin Alexander to "Eat me!".
This creature was first created as a pencil sketch, and then scanned in. I then digitally revised and readjusted the sketch and then layered the color and shading behind the sketch.
